Update on My Absence

Hey Hunger Games lovers! LONG time no post. Technical difficulties got so complicated! Just wanted to let you all know that I'm alive ;). I am going to have a post about Catching Fire coming up soon. Who's excited? I know I am! Thanks for reading, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

The Hunger Games DVD!

Hi readers! I am so sorry that I have not been posting, I was busy with my new Quibblo (I will post the link below). I got The Hunger Games on DVD for my birthday :):):), so I am going to tell you some things about the DVD.

• The case looks great!
• The sound and picture quality are great, but the beginning scene with Katniss and Prim is very quiet, so turn up the volume on your television during that part! :)
• It has special features.
• The DVD itself is illustrated, so even without the case it's easy to find.
• I love this DVD!

Definetly buy this DVD! The quality is impeccable, the movie is amazing, and the story is intriging! 5 stars!

District 10 Boy: Long Forgotten

In The Hunger Games, Katniss, Peeta, Rue, Foxface, Cato, Marvel, and the boy from District 3 are thought of of the last few standing. But everyone has actually forgotten that the boy from District 10 made it pretty far. In the book, the only attention paid to him is to say that he has a crippled foot, even though he makes it so far in the games. In the film, I think that the crew even less about him than Suzanne Collins. He does not gain any attention from Katniss, he does not have a crippled foot, and his interview is only shown for a second. He is played by Jeremy Marinas. So today, if you are thinking about The Hunger Games, don't forget about this almost survivor!

Johanna Has Been Cast!

It's official. Jena Malone has been cast to play Johanna Mason in Catching Fire, airing in 2013. She is an actress and musician who has appeared in several movies and on Broadway. She is born on November 21, 1984, and she is 27 years old. She was born in Sparks, Nevada. She began her acting career at only 12 years old!

Josh Hutcherson: Literally the Title of This Blog

Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), our favorite Hunger Games, might as well be called Josh HOTcherson. But his looks aren't the only interesting thing about him. Here are some facts about Josh.

• He knows how to swim with a cast on his elbow.
• He was raised in  Kentuckey.
• He got a concussion on The Hunger Games' set because Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss) kicked him in the head by accident while goofing around.
• He also starred as Jesse in Bridge to Terabithia, and as Gabe in Little Manhattan.

Why wait?

Hi guys! I know that you all are wondering why Catching Fire is taking so long to be put in theatres-not until November 2012! So here's the scoop.
The main reason is because the producers of The Hunger Games want fans to get really excited and impatient for the movie. That way, when is does come out, lots of people will have been waiting to see it for so long that they will probably go opening night. That way, they can rake in the cash.

The second reason is because they are shooting for Thanksgiving weekend. They want it on a holiday weekend so that families will be on vacation and have time to go see the movie.

And I, for one, think that their tactic is working! I am SO excited for Catching Fire! Rate in the comments box how excited you are from 1-10 (10 being the most excited)! I'm a 10!!!:) Catch you later! May the odds be ever in your favor!
